On October 31, 2020, Joseph Cardinal Tobin, Archbishop of Newark, presided over the Mass for the beatification of our founder, Father Michael J. McGivney. The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us in paragraph 2683 that the saints continue to intercede for the Church: “Their intercession is their most exalted service to God’s plan. We can and should ask them to intercede for us and for the whole world.”

As we continue to pray for Father McGivney’s canonization, we should also continue to seek his intercession each day with confidence and devotion.
