Pregnancy Center Support Program

By supporting local pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes, the Knights of Columbus show that we love both mother and child before, during, and after birth. This program is an outstanding way to build a local culture of life through direct, tangible community engagement.

🤝 Creative Ways Your Council Can Support Centers

Every center operates differently and experiences unique gaps in its resources. Simply reaching out to your local center director and asking what they need is the best first step. Consider these highly effective avenues of support:

  • Donate Critical Baby Supplies: Organize standard "baby showers" or collection drives at your parish to gather diapers, wipes, formula, and maternity clothing.

  • Volunteer Your Labor: Offer the manual skills of your council members for property upkeep—including lawn maintenance, fresh painting, deep cleaning, or structural renovations.

  • Upgrade Technology & Equipment: Volunteer technical assistance to help staff update outdated office equipment, setup computer networks, or configure phone systems.

  • Back a "Walk for Life": Register a team of Knights and families to participate in, promote, or financially sponsor the center’s annual fundraising walk or 5K.

💰 Maximize Impact via Supreme's ASAP Initiative

Do not forget to leverage the Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) initiative through the Supreme Council. For every $500 your council or assembly financially donates to a qualified pregnancy resource center or maternity home (up to a limit of $2,000), the Supreme Council will grant an additional $100 matching bonus directly to that center.

📍 Need Help Finding a Center Near You?

If your council wants to get involved but needs assistance identifying or establishing contact with an eligible pro-life pregnancy help center in your immediate area, please reach out directly to our state leadership. Our leadership team will gladly map out the nearest options and help your council "adopt" a center to support throughout the fraternal year.
