Family Involvement

Each year, the State Council hosts baseball and hockey games on both sides of the state. These events are always well-attended, and we encourage even more families to join us for the fun and fellowship!

Tailgates

In Kansas City, both the Royals Baseball and Mavericks Hockey games feature a pre-game tailgate with freshly grilled food and great camaraderie among friends.

The Royals Baseball Game was held on June 8, 2024. On the east side of the state, the St. Louis Cardinals will play the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday, September 22, at 1:15 PM. Proceeds from ticket sales for these games benefit Special Olympics.

Hockey Games

The Mavericks and Blues games are anticipated to take place in early 2025. Stay tuned for more details as schedules are finalized.

Future Events

We are exploring the possibility of adding family outings that go beyond sports, such as concerts or stage shows, for late 2024 and throughout 2025.
