Coats for Kids
John Myers, Chairman
The Knights of Columbus developed the Coats for Kids program to provide Missouri Councils with an opportunity to purchase new winter coats at discounted rates and distribute them to children in need within their local communities.
Since its inception in 2009, over half a million coats have been distributed through this initiative. Every Knights of Columbus Council is encouraged to participate in the program. Coats can be ordered through the KnightsGear.com website, or Councils may work with local retailers for purchasing arrangements.
If the cost of a case of coats is outside the Council's budget, Councils are encouraged to collaborate with their District Deputy or Chapter to partner with nearby Councils and be part of this impactful program.
Once the Council’s event is complete, it is essential to submit the Fraternal Programs Report Form #10784.
